-1 whole egg
-2 egg whites
-1/4 cup of steel cut or rolled oats
-1 ripe banana
-1 scoop of vanilla or unflavored whey protein
-1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-pinch of cinammon
Blend all of the ingredients in a blender or ninja single serve blender cup. Lightly grease a pan with Pam and place over medium heat. Pour mixture to desired size pancake. Carefully flip after a few minutes (or when browned on bottom).
Makes 3-4 small/medium pancakes.
Makes for an excellent pre or post-workout meal, when carbohydrate and protein requirements are significantly increased.
